Accessible Multimedia Module
- Introduction - An overview of Multimedia components;

- Streaming Media Methods and Media formats (Windows Media, QuickTime and RealMedia);
- Flash and Shockwave - A discussion of accessibility features and issues with these formats;
- Providing text transcription, captions and descriptive video synchronized with the media (captions for spoken word, auditory descriptions of relevant action taking place on the screen);
- Captioning with MAGpie, Hi-Caption and other tools;
- SMIL and SVG accessibility features;
- Creating an accessible slideshow.

In every country which already has a Web accessibility policy, this chapter should be updated and related to that specific legislation.
Otherwise a "generic" chapter about WAI, WCAG 1.0 guidelines and basic techniques will be provided.
