CWP WAS Certification


Issue of certification

IWA WAS certification is only issued by IWA/HWG through the local representative of the association. The examinations are carried out by IWA/HWG associates indicated by the association who must not have any involvement in the training of the learner.


Validity of certification

IWA WAS certification is valid for three years from the date of issue. IWA WAS certification is a statement of professional quality and will be issued exclusively to learners who demonstrate the expected skills in the study plans and who have signed the deontological code of IWA/HWG, through enrolment in the association.


Renewal of certification

In order to obtain renewal learners must show that they are continuing to develop the activity for which they are certified, that they have respected the signed deontological code, have carried forward a programme of continuous professional development with studies, professional updating, research, investigations on particular themes and responded to the new demands for skills determined by the market. It is expected, for this purpose, periodic integrated examinations held directly by IWA/HWG or recognised testing centres.
