PRESS RELEASE

Modalis Research Technologies and International Webmasters Association (IWA)
Form Partnership to Survey Internet/Web Industry

San Francisco, CA (December 20, 2000) - Modalis Research Technologies, Inc., a worldwide business information provider and the International Webmasters Association (IWA), the largest global association focused on educating and certifying Web professionals today announced their strategic partnership for development and delivery of online information services.

The exclusive partnership will enable both global organizations to provide better information services to their clients and members. Modalis, a pioneer in the development of Web-based forms of information and research will provide IWA with instant surveys, syndicated reports, panels and other state-of-the art information services that will benefit IWA's members. IWA has agreed to provide Modalis with access to over 22,000 members for conducting industry-related research.

To facilitate the research, the two organizations will build the "Web Profession Advisory Council," (WPAC) a research panel, which will provide insight into the products, services, compensation, and lifestyles of those professionals shaping the Internet and the Web's offerings.

"This effort is extremely important for both groups," said Dr. Bill MacElroy, president, Modalis. "With the pace of change and innovation, the industry needs to increase the level of dialogue among the key thought leaders. We have high hopes that this partnership will help to focus the conversation on critical issues and be a resource for both the consumers and producers of Web infrastructure products."

"IWA is excited about the opportunity of expanding its mission to include research services and studies to further support our industry" explained Richard Brinegar, executive director, IWA. "Modalis' global presence and reputation is an asset to IWA and we look forward to this new venture."
